Batavia Coast Marina - Station Square

Station Square Stage 1 civil works

Stage 1 civil works for Station Square — part of the Geraldton Batavia Coast Marina project — began in early May 2025 and will continue until October 2025. During this time, we’ll be constructing Monument Promenade and Chambers Way, including new roads, footpaths, street lighting, landscaping, and a range of new commercial and residential lots.

Please note that parking and public access to the area near Foreshore Drive will be closed. Access to Soul Food Café and the Sunday Platform Markets will be available via Chapman Road.

Batavia Coast Marina Stage 2 moves forward with funding boost

The funding, combined with existing support from the Regional Development Assistance Program (RDAP), will enable the delivery of essential infrastructure, including:

  • Construction of Monument Promenade and Chambers Way, featuring roads, footpaths, drainage, street lighting, landscaping, and irrigation.
  • New residential and commercial lots, including one mixed-use site, one grouped dwelling lot, and 15 cottage-style residential lots, potentially providing up to 40 new homes.

Once completed, Station Square will create a seamless link between Geraldton’s CBD, the Marina, and key local destinations such as Northgate Shopping Centre, the Museum of Geraldton, and the HMAS Sydney II Memorial.

This milestone is being delivered in collaboration with the Batavia Coast Marina Steering Committee, which includes DevelopmentWA, the Mid West Development Commission, the City of Greater Geraldton, and Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation.
