What's Happening Now?
Lot 912 Midland Road, Bushmead is currently moving through the planning phase and has completed two key statutory steps.
- November 2020: Lot 912 was rezoned from ‘Public Purposes’ to ‘Urban’ and ‘Urban Deferred’ under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.

October 2025: the Minister for Planning approved the amendment to the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme to reclassify Lot 912 Bushmead from unzoned to 'residential development' zone.
This re-zoning to ‘residential development’ allows the project team to start on the next phase in the planning process, preparation of the Local Structure Plan.
