Public Assemblies

Elizabeth Quay remains neutral regarding activities of a political, religious, or other nature. As such, we do not endorse or disapprove of these activities, and we do not process bookings or issue permits for rallies, demonstrations, protests, vigils, processions, or similar assemblies.

The venue identified below is available for your use under the following conditions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors:

  • This public assembly is not classified as a formal ‘event,’ and your group attends the site at your own risk.
  • Respect other activities and events by avoiding interference or disruption.
  • Ensure all displayed content and activities remain appropriate for a public setting, avoiding graphic or offensive language and imagery. 
  • Refrain from attaching banners, flags, posters, or any infrastructure to light poles, trees, or building facilities.
  • Limit equipment to handheld items only; please do not bring generators, motorised equipment, helium balloons, candles, furniture, or vehicles onsite.
  • Avoid connecting to Elizabeth Quay's power supply.
  • Arrange your own contracted services such as cleaning or security. Refrain from distributing flyers, giveaways, food or drinks.
  • Avoid any selling, donations, or collection of money on site.
  • Leave the site in its original condition upon departure.
  • Refrain from using Elizabeth Quay's logo, images, or name to promote your assembly.
  • Keep noise levels respectful to allow others to enjoy the space peacefully.
