Metronet East High Wycombe Structure Plan
At its meeting on 7 April 2025, the Land Redevelopment Committee approved the Metronet East High Wycombe Structure Plan subject to the following amendments:
- strengthen wording in land use table (Part 1 – 4.2 ‘Land Use Permissibility’) to clarify preferred and expected land uses, specifically to more firmly restrict industrial uses in the residential/mixed use precinct;
- adjust wording under Part 1, Section 4.8 ‘Environmental Management Plans’ to more clearly require that species selections throughout the precinct support the preservation of environmental values; and
- adjust wording under Part 2, Section 4 ‘Movement Network’ to clarify that the road cross sections are not intended to be overly prescriptive and in particular allow for flexibility to encourage traffic calming, improved pedestrian and cyclist treatments and enhanced tree canopy.
The Structure Plan report has been updated to include the amendments mentioned above.
